The 2008 Tour de France route will once again be coming to the Alpe d'Huez, on Wednesday 23rd July 2008. The stage from Embrun follows a tortuous route, including the Galibier and Croix de Fer ahead of the finish on the Alpe d'Huez. It will be very feasible to ride to see the race twice that day by bike, as
well as the "up close and personal" stage start in Bourg d'Oisans the following morning.

The Etape du Tour will be held in the Pyrenees, from Pau to Hautacam on Sunday 6th July 2008, so why not come and take the chance to ride some Alpine cols ahead of your trip? We can arrange supported rides over the 2006 route (Gap to Alpe d'Huez).
