
The Tour de France isn't just coming to the area this year, it's actually coming through our village, before going on to climb the Alpe d'Huez, not once, but twice on Thursday 18th July 2013. We are really happy to see the inclusion of the col d'Ornon, climbed from Valbonnais, the first time it has been included since 2002.
The Giro d'Italia is coming to this area in 2013. On May 19th 2013, the race will finish on the col du Galibier via the Telegraphe. The Giro rest day will then be spent in Valloire before a stage start from there on May 21st 2013.

We are located on the edge of the Ecrins National Park, where there is an abundance of beautiful walks to be explored as well as climbing and mountaineering. We provide fully catered accommodation. Each day starts with a hearty breakfast, followed by post-ride pasta salads and home-made cakes in the afternoon, and in the evening a delicious home-cooked, 3-course meal with wine and/or beer included. We take a pride in all of our cooking and prepare varied and well-balanced meals using the freshest and best ingredients available to us.
